Abby and Gene were really fun to work with. From the moment I met them I knew I wanted to document their special day. They really live for one another; you can tell that right away.
Gene proposed to Abby along The Highline so that’s where we went for their engagement session 🙂 What a cool place to visit and even better to shoot! There are so many great little spots up there, making for many many shooting opportunities. The light is really great too because you get all tastes of it. I always enjoy walking that boardwalk; it’s yet another really cool thing we have in New York City.
Their wedding was held at Battery Gardens. That’s a great venue. Very scenic and lovely. Quaint but not too small – just the right size for a nice wedding… This was a perfect late summer night in New York City – and they were married just as the sun set over the Hudson River, with the Statue of Liberty looking on….
