What a day it was today. Friday, absolute soaking rain ALL DAY. The weather has been really crummy in NY for most of this summer (so far) and today was one of the worst days of them all. And to think YESTERDAY I photographed a couple and it was beautiful outside!!!
Nevertheless I had a blast with Laura and Ryan, who were in from Indiana. They rented a cool party bus for their guests and it was a good thing they did! Laura’s spirit was high all day and that’s what made the photos great in the end. They say it rains blessings!!!
I think this was one of the more challenging weddings in recent memory, but also one of the most rewarding…

Oh my God these pictures are so stunning! I love these shots so much! Especially the one where they are both kissing with matching umbrella’s in the street, breathtaking! It is a bride’s fear that it will rain on her wedding day, especially when planning a destination wedding and you were totally able to work it. I am sure it helped that the couple obviously had a very positive attitude but it really is so amazing how you were able to really utilize the elements to capture such beautiful pictures.
