Malin & Jens Intimate Central Park Wedding!

I was really excited for this intimate NYC wedding because it was my first time shooting for ‘A Central Park Wedding!’  Malin and Jens came all the way from Sweden to be married in Shakespeare Garden, Central Park!  Boy did we get lucky with the weather on that day!  They had been saying rain all day long and we rushed to get the ceremony going before the skies opened up.  We made it!  It was a miracle!  The light was gorgeous because we had a good layer of clouds softening up the beautiful white light.  I love working in those conditions!  Plus it wasn’t too hot!

We went to a few areas of Central Park including Belvedere Castle and Bethesda Terrace before departing for Grand Central Terminal.  There we stayed for just a few minutes as the rush hour was beginning and I know how Mel (the station manager) does not look too fondly upon photographs being taken while commuters are racing toward their trains!  The couple stayed at the Trump Soho and the folks at the hotel were kind enough to allow us to use the penthouse floor (with view of the NYC Skyline) for photos!  We were so fortunate the room wasn’t in use!  Very grateful, we spent about 10 minutes up there taking photos.  It was a perfect day and we dodged the rain for the most part!  Special thanks again to A Central Park Wedding for having me along on this one!
