Every so often I’ll be contacted by a couple who lives quite far from NYC. In this case, Sai and Wendy, came all the way from Singapore to visit New York and asked me to take their photos strolling around town. I enjoy portrait sessions like this because the couple “blends in” a little more when they aren’t in wedding attire.
We had a gorgeous late fall day and started in the area of the Flatiron Building. Madison Square Park is right there and I love walking through it (although the lawns were all closed!). From there we took the subway down to the Financial District and spent the bulk of our 2-hours there. I also love shooting down there because there are some very cool “pillars and steps” in and around the NYSE. You can also easily get to Battery Park, which we looked at as we concluded our time together.
It was great spending time with Sai and Wendy, learning about what life is like for them back home. Its nice knowing New York has such a massive fan base from thousands of miles away!
